LDAR stands for Leak Detection And Repair. It is a program that identifies the leaks and emissions of gasses or liquids from the pipes or other equipment in chemical or petrochemical companies. These refer to the regulations of the US EPA (environmental protection agency) that surround the accidental emission of VOC (volatile organic compounds) and VHAP (volatile hazardous air pollutants).
